“Since September 2013 Biosanica GmbH has been manufacturing organic dry fruits exclusively from raw materials in a certified organic cultivation environment at its premises in Pommerndreieck. These premises, located directly on the A20 in the picturesque hinterland of the Baltic Sea coast, provides us with the best technical and logistical conditions conducive to modern production.

“Something Unique”

“In 2015 the Martin Stolz GmbH Department Store opened one of what is now 12 branches in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, in Pommerndreieck.

For us, the location represents something unique. Located right on the A20, our aim is to offer a rest area fit for tourists to families who are going on holiday or heading home.

With this, alongside our department store, a local supplier and the outdoor play area, in the future we are also planning an indoor play area, a large slide and gastronomic offers – in short, an adventure world for families.”

Milestone in our growth strategy

“After we ultimately decided to build a new permanent establishment in the Pommerndreieck location, we were able to submit the building application during 2017; it was approved in the fall of the same year. The building was ready to move into at the end 2018; we were able to celebrate its commissioning on 1 March 2019.

For our company, the new facility in Pommerndreieck is an elementary milestone in our growth strategy. The Pommerndreieck location on the A20 has proven itself. Our turnover expectations were exceeded, and this led to us being recognised as a 2020 growth champion by FOCUS BUSINESS.

The Vorpommern business development company accompanied us intensively and competently in this investment phase; whether it was about communication with the community, the district building authorities or the M-V State funding institute. We are happy and grateful that the staff of WFG Vorpommern always stood by us.”
